How to Contact
You can schedule by emailing Richard@RolfingNEPA.com or by calling 571-265-9950.
Generally, I only schedule 3 appointments per day and am usually booked up a week or so in advance. If someone is in pain, we find a way as soon as possible. I offer treatments 7 days per week, but usually reserve weekends for those unavailable on weekdays. For people with limited availability, it is wise to schedule 2-3 weeks ahead. Many people doing the 10-series book the same day and time each week, or every other week. The interval between appointments is highly individualized, but 1-3 weeks usually works best.
Choose a Location
I do most of my work out of my home office at 142 Mulberry Drive, Milford, PA. This location is 10 minutes west of Milford in The Woodlands, 6 miles from Exit 46 on I-84. For directions, please go to Preparing for a Session/Directions.
Scheduling options are also available on a limited basis in Kingston, PA, at Thrive Wellness; and in Dunmore, PA, at Tiffany Griffiths. Please call or email me if interested in these locations. If you are too far from these locations, you may be able to find a closer Certified Rolfer at www.Rolf.org.
Choose a Session
You have several choices on what to schedule for your first visit.
1) You can schedule the first session of the 10-series. I recommend that clients do the first three to see if it’s for them, but there is never any pressure to come back for another session.
2) You can schedule a free consultation. We would spend 15 minutes on diagnostics, review your goals, and discuss how I might be able to help you. We can also do a few minutes of “work” so you can get a sense of how it feels.
3) If you have a specific concern or area of pain, we can treat structural factors affecting your symptoms. Rolfing SI deals with underlying causes of pain and structural imbalances. For example, if you have low back pain, I will probably not spend much time directly working on your low back, but will focus on unwinding whatever is pulling on it.
4) You can schedule a Myofascial Release session. This gives you a feel for the work and a chance to discuss if it’s for you. A Myofascial session is a general full-body application of some Rolfing SI techniques, but without goals that are as sequential and strategic. It can be effective in treating symptoms of those dealing with fibromyalgia or other connective tissue conditions.
